Interactive fiction you can talk to, text and call

PrimalFade is a collection of five story worlds for adults. The characters are driven by AI, so they respond to what you actually say, remember what has happened, and can reach you by text or phone call. You pay only for what you play.

Is it a visual novel?

No. A visual novel follows branches that were written in advance. In PrimalFade the story is generated as you play, so you can say or do almost anything and the world answers.

Five worlds

Nebula Prime — Sci-fi. A smuggler's station at the edge of the Outer Rim, where trust is contraband.
The Neon Canyon — Cyberpunk. The sub-levels of a sprawling city, where your data is your soul.
The Fade — Dark fantasy. The Vale of Echoes, a haunted realm behind the veil.
The Hollow Run — Dark romance. Wolf territory in Thornwood and the Deep Run.
Obsidian Court — Dark seduction. A gothic castle ruled by something ancient.

What you can do

Common questions

Can I change or rewrite the storyline?

Yes. PrimalFade has no fixed script. Narrate what your character does in your own words and the story follows: you can redirect a scene, take the plot somewhere new or rewrite where it is heading entirely. The characters and the world respond to what you write.

Can I create my own character?

Yes, PrimalFade does let you create your own characters (NPCs). In the Nebula Prime world, open the Custom Contact panel and give your character a name, a relationship to you and personality notes. Choose Add to Scene and the story brings them in. Characters in the other four worlds are written by us, and you can text and call them too.

Can characters text and call me?

Yes. Texts and phone calls are part of the story.

Do I need to pay to try it?

You create an account and buy credits to play. You only spend what you use.
